I think we will see a lot of this sort of activity in the future. CA Australia recently merged with CA New Zealand, they have tried five times in Australia to merge CA with CPA and each time failed....

Why would you take an American or UK exam with the aim of going to work in Germany?

Did you even read the English version of that website? I doubt there are any exemptions.

You only need to sit the Capstone module of the Australian CA, they have an agreement with the Indian one (assuming you became a CA through study and work experience)....
