Firstly I used HSBC and found them to be ok. Where in UAE is there a branch where you are.
You will probably paid local currency so set up off shore account HSBC jersey.
Be carefull coz to benifit...

Returning to UAE - Visas and Drving License

Appreciate its quiet compared to Dubai, but most places are. Job is in Fujairah so I take it or leave it. Still have friends in Dubai so thats the odd weekend ...

Emaar still ok (ish) DH and all subsiduries vertually closed down so can actually see state off loading liabilities to private...

3 swimming pools, walk out front door 50 yards and we are on the JBR walk. Also close to the Hilton for a beer

Lease is silent, other than referring to a penalty.
Only timeframe refers to lease renewal.

We have no debt. But company took 6 weeks to sort wifes visa which extended beyond latest date and...

Leaving Dubai

Despite our best efforts regarding jobs, we are giving up and leaving Dubai in July.

Does anybody have any info Re Lease terminations and refund of rent paid.

Like most we paid in One cheque....

We had some friends stop over end of May.
If they are flying Emirates into terminal 3, they can stay airside but go to the Irish pub in terminal one.
At least you can have a beer and a ciggy in...

At bottom left of the page Uk (on the right on arabic site) is something that looks like a globe.

Click it and it gives you the option and choice of language

Tried to log into Facebook today.
It say connecting (quite normal) but then 'Redirecting' and opens in Arabic:confused:
