Hiya

Some FAQs on the Immigration website might give you a better indication for the spouse visa;

'I have been in a de facto spouse relationship for 11 months. Do I still have to wait for...

Re: ONSHORE SPOUSE VISA(your thoughts)

Hi - Yes - think we were all talking about different things for a while! Our original posts had been about ETAs & Working holidays and this comment refered to the tourist visa which is a different...

Re: ONSHORE SPOUSE VISA(your thoughts)

I think your comments are a little unecessary. A person has asked for people's experience on this matter and you've used it as an opportunity for a rant, be judgemental and throw out inaccurate...

Re: ONSHORE SPOUSE VISA(your thoughts)

Aha the ETA rather than a working hol visa - I can't see how that can be a problem as far as immigration's concerned but I'm no expert. How else would you know if you liked it. I think I was...

Re: Renting out your home in the UK

Koala Kim that sounds just awful! There are definately lots of pitfalls and it certainly does depend on who you get in - I think I've been lucky in finding good tenants by the sounds of it! You're...

Re: A blunt and realistic assessment of Australia right now

Ok so I skipped most of the rest of the debate (:zzz:), however in response to the original post, I think it totally depends on your sector. There are still areas in shortage or where you can still...

Re: British Airways Additional Baggage

oh and if memory serves correct - even if it's a codeshare, as long as you book via BA then it's still fine. Give them a call to double check but I'm pretty sure this was the case. Its certainly...

Re: British Airways Additional Baggage

I looked at one point at coming to sydney via US as their baggage allowances were bigger but once I discovered the BA per bag policy I changed my mind. It was really convenient - plus you can pay...

Re: Flight upgrades

Travel alone, look very smart, be descrete - it's still rather unlikely! I'd much rather check in online and pick a good seat in economy than rock up to the desk hoping to get upgraded and not only...

Re: Renting out your home in the UK

Hi

I'm renting out my property currently. Here's a few things I've learned along the way;

1) You must inform your mortgage lender - mine gave me leave to stay on currenty mortgage and let my...

Re: This may be an annoying question but....

Definately check out the immigration website suggested above. They've actually simplified some of it too so it's easier to use now than say 6 months ago.

You can go in and look in detail at each...

Re: ONSHORE SPOUSE VISA(your thoughts)

Hi

Firstly - if you're already married I definately say go straight for a Spouse visa - there's no reason not to. However if you aren't married like me and don't want to rush into a fiance visa...
