Yes I've had the same €15 trick.

The Car hire company for my next rental wants a €1 per day transponder hire.

I'd rather pay as I go, or buy a card linked to the hire car. I don't make...

Is it possible to pick up a Portuguese hire car and pay or pre-pay the toll rather than use a transponder?

Some of the alternative ip providers have suffered a slow down due to the volume of world cup and probably tennis traffic.

Hopefully when all that has subsided the servers will be able to cope.

These changes put their traffic rules on a par with the UK and the rest of the North.

I'm not sure Southern Spain/Portugal is ideal for Pvc windows/doors.
With a temperate differential of at least 30 degs it has to be well reinforced pvc to cope with the dimensional change. eg....

If you facy driving beyond Mertola, I suggest you take a 1/2 tracked vehicle.
The roads are like semi tarmaced cart tracks. I've done it once .... never again.
I used to think the UK roads were...
