Is there a new bread of mosquitos about? the last three or four days we seem to be inundated with very aggressive mosquitos.. Faster than normal even in daylight.. don't usually get bitten but this week myelf and my neighbours are covered in bites. Any body got this problem ?

Not up my hill we don't although now I will probably get bitten alive. Only bites I have had this year were when I visited Costi Esuri ! although much less than normal. Halley spray works well

Dry hotter weather over the last year means a lot of their breeding sites have dried up so a lot fewer this year.http://animals.howstuffworks.com/insects/mosquito2.htm
So how that translates to an increase "in the whole of Spain" is puzzling to say the least

We've just moved from the UK to the Santa Agnes de Malanyanes area north side of Barcelona. And flippin eck.....the mozzies are a bit of a shocker. I had a dream of wearing shorts all year. But after a few nights me legs look like theyre in for the close up shots in the "walking dead". So here I am sittin in me top to toe onesie and a flyswatter in each hand....livin the dream.

I use this missile, good stuff!!
I am in the UK but go fishing 2 or 3 nights a week and bugs love me.
Good spray of avon SSS and very few bites plus it smells nice and is cheap because a bottle lasts ages.
