Slightly confused around this.
I'm in Canada on TWP and my FSW application is being processed 'In Canada' in London ON not Ottawa or Buffalo.

Speaking to several mortgage advisors and banks it seems that the down payment is governed by your credit score and has we didnt have one they needed 20%. Hopefully when we get PR then it will be 5...

It depends what the reason was - we've heard of a few rejected you to incorrect salaries advertised and they usually get accepted second time around. do you have any other info?

Yes, I've been back with my company since 1st December and we have just sent off the paperwork for permanent residency.
Coming from the UK you will be able to get the work permit issued at Toronto...

*Already in living in Canada on an open work permit and had worked for the company for 2 years previously.

WOW! I've never heard of 16 weeks before..
However I was told last week by someone who I now know in CIC that processing priority is now being placed with 'spousal sponsorship'.. not sure why.

The LMO arrived at my employers location by fax then by post a few days later. I'm not sure if my employer specified a fax response or if it is part of the process.

I'm now going to fight across the border (its black friday) to get my TWP.

Yes - this is true, though I would assume most companies will use them for their own safety. My company is one of the largest in Canada and has successfully applied for around 30 LMO's but still...
