Hi Antony,
It depends what the reason was - we've heard of a few rejected you to incorrect salaries advertised and they usually get accepted second time around. do you have any other info?

Hi M4mm4l,

The information that I was given was that when advertising the job role they did not put a salary on on the advert. Also there was 1 technical issue that I do not know the details.
The person who is the hiring manager is meeting with his hr rep on wednesday to discuss ways forward and hopefully sort this problem out.
Feeling devastated at the moment as waited 12 weeks only to get a negative response.
Hoping I can get there 2nd time round!

Antony

Does anyone have any new updates or information for 2012 yet?

My parents lmo application was re-posted (after refusal) 29th November 2011 and today they received lmo file number (just under 5 weeks later).....does anyone have any guesses as to how much longer for final response?

THANK YOU AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Congratulations!! That's great news, good luck with the venture!

Was that 16 weeks from recieving file number or 16 weeks from sending it off?

I wonder if yours was for the same treason as ours, our friends had their's approved last week and they applied 3/4 weeks after us! We are on week 14 and still nothing.

Apparently when the office that processes them moved some of the applications went to BC and some stayed in Alberta, guess who's went to BC? We were told this via hubby's employer who contacted them to find out what the hold up was.

I just thought that this would reassure people who aren't aware, and so we wait...

Hi Shaun&Em - the delay on the west coast is mainly due to the 3 offices (Calgary, Edmonton & Vancouver) being moved into a central processing office. Unfortunately it created a 4+ week overhead on the previous 8-10 week ETA.

Good luck to all you guys still waiting

Thanks for this, slightly frustrating though! Hopefully some news soon for us and the others!

Hi

Mind if I join this thread?

Husbands app was received 6th November and we still haven't heard... got an update that they want a final telephone interview with them last week but nothing since so don't even know if the call has been had yet.

Canadians are so laid back compared to us lot aren't they???

Waiting is driving me nuts!
