Congrats to you all getting the two year LMO. That's great. We're waiting ... again ... it's a constant thing with us ... but it's been 9 weeks now, so fingers crossed

Did your employers actually ask for two years on their application?

it comes through soon for you. I think they just send the application off and then it's decided for them how long it is. Husbands employers said to expect a year's permit - but we got 2!

Thanks Oompa!
Cheers. I'm hoping it's going to be a positive one and if so, the icing on the cake would be a two year LMO.

I think it helped that his employers said no-one applied for his job when it was advertised. Do you know if any/many applied for yours?

Very few applied, around 5 or 6, and they were either not interested in going for an interview or they couldn't get hold of them - not returning calls etc. Plus, they advertised the job twice - first LMO application was rejected, so they advertised again for 4 weeks. This is the second application for the same job.

Hi there is a space on the form your employer fills in that asks how long the employment is for...so depends what your employer asks for and what they decide to give..last year we were told they could only give a year, this time they said that our package was put together so well they would give the 2 years..
