Pretty sure Emirates do the standard (i.e. ridiculous) excess baggage rate. I was surprised to see how generous BA was after years of flying the Asian carriers who are wonderful with service but...

The house I just sold here (coastal NSW) was less than four years old. No insulation, no heating/aircon with very drafty single glazed windows that took up about 60-70% of the exterior wall space....

I submitted my UK spouse visa application two weeks ago. Unfortunately, it requires pretty much identical supporting information as the Aus visa did for my husband. I think the only real difference...

We're in a similar situation, only have about three boxes (mainly my husband's CDs which he won't part with either) to ship back. We're looking at using Jetta which I read recommendations for on here...

I agree about instincts, mine kicked in after a few weeks as well. And I'm actually Australian, it's hubby that is English. But after living there and then returning here, it just was not home any...
