In general how much time does it take for medicals to get finalized....

CO is assigned but was on 23rd Sep 2008 but didnt hear from him since then.

Also, you didnt reply will I require to give IELTS again for applying for SS.

Because of priority processing of CSL my application was put on hold since my occupation inspite of being an engineering skill was not listed in CSL.

Now it is in the new SOL and in SS of NSW.

I have my Sister residing in australia and willing to sponsor me. I believe in 176 Visa its either state or relative sponsorship. Will it have any affect on my current timelines.

Yup, the CO contacted me in September. I also wrote to him asking when my application will be processed to which he replied that its going for security checks. I dont think Materials Engineer is not...
