I have just started this thread for those who have alloted case officer and waiting for Visa grant. Because of the new immimgration cut policy Things will take much longer Than as expected. Dhama.

My case officer contacted me on 12 Feb asking for form 80. But I haven't heard anything else from him since then. Almost 35 days.

Who else is like me? How much longer do you think it might take?

more info on employment.... was not comfortable with previous one....have sent latest ref letter from my previous com with detailed jobs & respos.

earlier was littlebit shorter than latest one, becos previous company was not so friendly on giving ref letters & they had just mentioned some of my duties for the formalities. I requested them once again for some detailed ref letter, after so many requests they gave me detailed one.

Thank god... but now again waiting........

so CO is asking for just the latest company? did you give them payslips? or tax documents? im quite worried coz i have 3 previous companies.. A, B, C.. i have complete tax and payslips for company B and C. but for my first company A, i only have a COE.. do you think this will satisfy my future CO? no CO yet, but just getting prepared.. hehe.. thanks..

I had been contacted by the CO for PCC and MEDS on 23rd FEB which was submitted around 2 weeks back now waiting for a reply

Dear All,

Nop, my CO didn't ask any tax or payslips for any of my employer as i am on 475 visa, may be it is mendatory for permanant 175ers visas.

I had sent each & every doc including form 80, ielts with visa application, then meds, pcc sent in nov & jan.

now CO had asked for previous employment duties in details for which I have sent new ref letter in detail.

now waiting is on again........hopefully by this or next week....fingers crossed..

No he dint ask for any pay slips.. i don't think so we need to do that if we can arrange for references from your previous and current employers. Pay slips and tax forms will only be needed if you cant get the references for any reason.

Hi we submitted our 176 May 2008 and was allocated a C/O 07/01/09 asked to send more info, all requested info sent 03/02/09 and now hoping for some good news but worried as O/H is a brickie. Good luck to all.

My case officer contacted me on the 11th of march and asked for PCC, Form 80 and form 1023 for a mistake I had made in my application. Still waiting for my police check results.

Does anyone how long it usually takes before you get your visa after you get your case officer and submit all requested doccuments?

Is this part of the wait the part that is really long for people from HR countries?
