I thought last year the Hu authorities started cracking down on foreign registered cars especially as it was found that many were not insured, tested etc.? I know some expats were having to have...

I recommend the Vonyarcvashegy (Vonyarc for short) & Gyenesdias (Dias for short) beaches - free parking as opposed to Keszthely

Quite a lot of instruments of "extortion" also in unmarked/ marked police cars looking out for "innocent" foreigners, and the fines are hefty ;-(

You could also simply just take out the £15k from the Hungarian bank and take it over to the UK privately.

I think it needs to be an official one by a surveyor, not an estate agent who will probably undervalue it.

House valuation

Can anyone please recommend someone who does official house valuations at a reasonable price? It's needed for dividing the asset after divorce i.e. one party buying the other out. Keszthely area...

It was south Balaton (Zala county) area - between 5000-10,000 HUF sounds better.
Am still clarifying the fees, thanks for your advice

The mayor's office sent us to Keszthely but they couldn't help, so to Zalaegerszég we will have to go ;-(

I got it through the AA as I have UK membership for £120 incl. parts/ repair.

If you have Tesco vouchers the RAC has good European cover.

Irrespective of any shortage, it will not be enforced i.e. you will not be fined till November this year. See link I put up in last post with the info...

As of today you need to have 2x regulation breathalysers on you in France!

Also in France your satnav should not be displaying speed camera warnings.
Any other regulations you are aware of on...
