Not true...She was eventually releasred ..totally exonerated and paid
compensation...

Sorry to disagree with you, Ray, but my sources tell me that Lindy Chamberlain was initially found guilty of her baby's murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour. It was only when they found the baby's coat FOUR YEARS LATER that her appeal eventually succeeded and she was released.

For me, the way that they have been media whoring like some uber celebreties, always making sure the teddy is strategically placed on view when entering the police station etc is truly disgusting.

Find Maddie---ask the parents as they know exactly where she is.

we shall see if im correct

All I said was that the cause was never really established despite the mother having spent time in jail...Ray said "not true"...both are true as far as I know. Although they found the baby's coat, it didn't prove that the dingo did it. Also, the mother spent four years in jail...anyway, let's move on.

Just another thought..........

If the rumoured 'deal' that has been offered is true ("confess to 'accidental' killing, and you'll get a light sentence"), a few things spring to mind.

1 - as I understand it, MRS McCann has been offered this deal - how do they know she was the one who 'accidentally' killed her daughter - how do they know MR McCann isn't an 'accidental' killer? Evidence we haven't been told about - or another desperate police ploy? Do they think SHE will wilt under this sort of pressure whereas he won't?

2 - why did it take the police over three months to check a hire car which the parents had apparently openly hired in their own names?

3 - have the little twins been interviewed? Their command of English may still be a little formative but I bet they can say 'Mummy took Maddy away' if that's what happened and one of them saw something.......

Apologies to the nice Portuguese lady who posted earlier - but this has got the words 'framed by the police' tattooed all over its forehead........

Interview the twins...surely you must be joking...since when is a 2 year old capable of giving evidence...

Completely agree with you - think the fact they found blood spots etc on her clothes has framed her rather than him but hey if you read the reports in the press the guy that is in jail for killing Jill Dando was framed on the same evidence and it is now subject to appeal so .......

dont wish to cast aspersions, but as a father who lost a child, i know first hand how she should react, i know everyone reacts differently, but i know how my wife and myself felt, although we lost our daughter in germany, all my wife wanted to do was to come to the uk and get near family, her parents, i know maddie is missing pressumed dead, and her parents wanted to stay out thier to be close to the investigation, but both are acting really odd, its as if they know what has happened, and they know she will not be found, (another jeanette tate springs to mind) but in all honesty, they do not seem to be grieving as parents should.
as i said, dont wanna cast aspersions or pr-empt any outcome, but i think the truth will come out and people will be shocked.

so you lost a child yourself and still you are judging other people how to feel in a certain situation...saying there is only one 'proper' way to grieve...that I find offending...
