Re: Affairs of the heart
A woman is a wonderful, beautiful, living, breathing human being - not a second-hand car.
i totally agree with that.
whe don't buy women
we respect them.
check where women are humilated more... in which societies
check where women are being abused and raped at least once a life
check which societies have more call centers to help women who get raped
check which societies give better treatment to women (none westeran for sure .. well in my opinion )
and check which societies use women as goods by allowing them to sell their bodies officially.

United Arab Emirates for questions 1-2 definitely. Not sure about whether having call centres is meant to be a good or bad thing in your eyes. It should be good because it recognises a genuine problem and tries to resolve it through non-confrontation. As for 5 just because its supposedly illegal doesn;t mean it doesn't happen.
It's not as if prostitution is rife here, is it?

2) he highlighted what he think is a problem which is not... polygamy is a normal thing driven from our religion and cluture and history if the entire humans (just check polygamy in the bible for example )
3) my answer to him was about how women are treated in the west and how she is being treated in a better way here.... once again ... according to my believes and standers .. which may not match your's having in mind that you are not muslim not arabic and was rased somewhere else without forgetting your jewish cluture that may/may not have an effect in your personality

2) having many call centers to help poor women who get raped means the society is driven crazy to allow this to happen and this is not a solution. preventing is better than curing.. some steps can be done to ease things if not preventing them.
3) you are right prostitution is there everywhere. but even in countries where prostitution is allowed women still work in this field without official approval.
bottom line. and official approval for prostitution is humilating women.

Re: Affairs of the heart
There's a difference between buying a woman and buying services from a consenting woman I'd imagine...but without any legal backing the whole thing is open to massive abuse is it not?

Re: Affairs of the heart
Sorry that i missed your post... I didnt see it.
to be honest with you i have never seen alot of hookers in dubai as i don't seek them but i was told that they are available and some people pointed to me some hookers.
but i don't know their numbers and i am sure that they are not given an official job as prostitutes.
