Great....thank you.
Very busy with one thing and another
Not been so active for a long while....makes a change from being stuck indoors all day avoiding the heat
Also seeems to be a notable absence of all the problems that Bud and his ilk tell us are so prevalent in this land
We are still renovating our house but have not been so socially active or happy for a long while

You write nonsense Bud. Lost the argument? Ha ha ha!
Your sole source of information about the UK appears to be The Daily Telegraph. Even then, you have a rather ridiculous habit of quoting articles from it, or the right-wing think tanks preferred by the DT, which you think support your argument, but actually don't.
You'd probably benefit from a course in remedial English comprehension.
Also, you are anti-immigrant, not just 'anti-immigration' as you claim. If you weren't you would not be so obsessed with the subject that you have to exaggerate the problem even beyond what is claimed by the right wing press.
I can't be bothered to argue with you any more. Frankly, it is beneath me.

Anyway, from the Guardian would you believe.

Just part of the growing problem.

Do some research and look at the bigger picture. It's easy to sit there in an ivory tower and say you don't see the problems that other people are suffering. The I'm all right Jack approach to current affairs doesn't help anyone.

Complete rubbish. Throwing insults is a sign of weakness.

On the contrary, it's as realistic - or not - as your "no immigration until we sort the infrastructure" mantra.

But the person you quoted isn't particularly nice either.

"This article was amended on 12 January to clarify that local authorities were expressly forbidden from replacing social housing stock by the Thatcher government under the right-to-buy programme"
Says it all really.

Meanwhile, the OP will presumably be interested to know that immigration rose to 330k in the last 12 months:

Indeed it does. I hope "Bud the Wiser" read your post.

The latest rise in net migration has been mainly driven by a continuing rise in those coming to work in Britain, who account for 65,000 of the increase. Nearly two-thirds of those already had a job to come to.

Yes that is interesting, and under 27,000 of the 330,000 were asylum applicants, of whom only 11,600 were given asylum.
