I bet all the people living in the leafier bits are pissing themselves at that

It was a joke, right? ;)

Would I joke about something so serious?

If only I hadn't sold my (Australian) passport to buy a bowl of gruel on Xmas Day I might have been able to escape.

But I'm trapped here forever now. I only came here in the first place because I fell for their rotten Pommie propaganda.

The NEW Forest!!! Liars, charlatans. It's 900 hundred years old!!! I'm surprised they haven't been prosecuted under The Trade Descriptions Act.

My thoughts exactly. Beautiful Scotland has plenty of lovely countryside. I take it he/she must live in the middle of some grotty city somewhere:confused:

Look at those PATHETIC crowds for the Premier League & the first round of the Six Nations and tonight's England v Switzerland game at Wembley.

The second important fact is that Britain is covered in concrete and what little remains of the countryside is at least two hours drive so even if you wanted to walk or cycle or swim (there are no beaches of course and the sea is too polluted anyway) you'd spend so much time getting there, you'd only have a half hour of daylight to do it in.

The third important fact is that Britain has barely recovered from WW2 rationing and it's so expensive that nobody can afford to buy new cars/TV/go on holiday abroad anyway.

The fourth important fact is that Britons have no sense of humour and in no circumstances are able to laugh at themselves.

I'm sorry if the truth hurts but it's got to be said.

It was more word association, a deep voiced singer did it but it probably wasn't Johnny Cash.

I am recovering from too much Rum and Coke last night, just beginning to feel human again now!

I'm hoping to seek refuge on the Isle of Wight with the last of the good i.e. red ones. if only I can smuggle my way on to a ferry from Lymington.

Apparently I can have the same room as Charles I at Carisbrooke!

My fate could be the same anyway judging from some of those responses!
