Re: Location, location, location
Somebody, who shall remain anonymous, posted elsewhere on MBTTUK last week that they were concerned regarding UK food safety and security as compared with the US.
I've read Fast Food Nation and others and get the picture.
You're a veggie though so it can be easier not to cross the line but for carnivores who are trying to eat less red meat and processed/smoked food it is a bit harder I think. We can but try.

Very interesting. My sister lives in Fife, Scotland and whilst she is not of retirement age (she's 56) I think she will stay there. She and her husband moved there 6 years ago from another part of Scotland. I have been there a few times and really like it. Lots of lovely little fishing villages, great coastal walks, best fish & chips in Scotland (if not the whole of the UK, Anstruther Fish Bar)! Also, although it can get cold in the winter (it is Scotland after all) it isn't as damp or rainy as other parts of Scotland. Yes, Fife has a lot going for it, also a short train or car ride into Edinburgh (my favorite British city).

Cars required I think.

It's more because she seemed so arrogant in telling them what to do with their garden e.g. "cleanse the view" . I am more in favour of allowing people their individuality in terms of gardens, interior decor, clothing style, etc. ... owning what they like as opposed to being told what they like.

I see that West Midlands, Manchester and London are considered unpopular. Strange grouping... large area plus 2 cities.???

Thought this was good value for the Sussex coast and Brighton close by for an infusion of culture.

The outside looks a bit bleak but I would put in a climbing rose and some flowers, reclaim the gravel front patch and green it up a bit. Also I would remove the 'deck' from the middle of the back yard LOL and re-do the decor completely!
