I have binge watched all 7 eps of The Missing and am looking forward to the final part.

Just a little reminder...if anyone wishes to discuss the final ep...please use the Spoiler tag. Many thanks,

Not the one I linked to. Mind you, it's nothing special, there are loads like it.

I posted the cover just because xmas RT was always nice to look at

I know what you mean. I was recording about 3 episodes of the Missing and The Fall while I was away in the US and became paranoid about reading this thread in case someone disclosed a plot line. I am now all caught up, hence I am now reading the thread again.

Even when people don't let on major spoilers, it's amazing how easy it is to let slip some juicy morsel of detail for those of us who can't keep up.

I'll definitely be watching the last episodes in real time, just in case.

I saw the start of the first episode of The Missing, but it seemed so slow I vowed to wait for the last episode yesterday evening. I started to watch then a German friend phoned, and I got back to the programme with only 15 minutes left! It didn't make a lot of sense after missing so much, but that's life.

I haven't watched the final episode of The Missing, but heard unfavourable comments about it. As I was losing interest over the last few episodes, I went searching for the outcome and I am glad that I will not be wasting another hour watching the final episode. I found the overall production too choppy.

A lot of people seem to have missed a lot of things on The Missing. But the Guardian blog has put them right.

Link, please?

I have noticed a number of news feed apps (HuffPost, News Republic and the like) insist on posting spoiler headlines ("Roy shot dead in Corrie stunner!" type thing). It is truly annoying and unavoidable (you unconsciously read the headline before you realise what it is about).

For similar reasons, I now almost never read or watch movie reviews - what part of the word "spoiler" do these numpties not understand?

As far as the last episode of the Missing, and the series in general ...

Spoiler:
a) I thought it could have been shortened to about 4 or 5 episodes, b) some of the content was baffling/trying to be too clever, c) the British policeman seemed to walk around half of the time with a completely gormless look on his face, and d) James Nesbit had a completely gormless look on his face for about 90% of the time (the other 10% of the time he spent erupting in yet another fit of anger).

Overall, I thought the series was pretty shit and the last episode was almost completely shit.
