Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs
I'm not so keen either. A tad opportunistic if you ask me, but I was thinking the French couple running the Eden.
Tony turns up, the wife is friendly and sympathetic, but the husband just shakes a hand, murmurs something and then slopes off to a back room, watching TV but still in shot, or lingers in a doorway.
Of course he might just be a bit embarrassed or awkward, not knowing what to say. But he might as well not have a part unless he's involved in some way. Or he could be a red herring.

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs
I still have tons of stuff lined up that I've not got around to yet.
Just as I get to the point I might start watching a series I downloaded a few months ago - Happy Valley, Peaky Blinders, The Honourable Woman and so on, new seasons of things I know are a 'must see' are available (Lilyhammer, The Newsroom, The Fall) and I watch those instead. Along with a few movies of course.
Did everyone see Quartet?

There will be a new series of Last Tango in Halifax coming up as well as Broadchurch.

Oh good! Something a bit lighter. Whilst I have to see the conclusion for both The Missing and The Fall, the subject matter is a bit grim and could Stella please lose the monotone voice!!!

I never watched the X Files, did she sound the same in that too?

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs
I'm not watching The Fall, because I don't like the subject matter, but I'm sorry because I've admired Gillian Anderson's acting ever since I saw her in the film in The House of Mirth. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it.
