7.5 earthquake just felt in Phoenix !:rofl: I'm in full blown panic mode now, mainly because I was just checking my bank account (Wells Fargo) to see what my balance was and had a huge SHOCK! On Thursday the airline ticket was a pending transaction. Now it's disappeared completely ! :eek::eek: It's no longer pending, but neither has it been posted to my account. I just checked online with BA and the booking is still on their end.

So now I'm wondering if this is normal for Wells Fargo??? Just about to make a call to their 1-800 number.

That happens a lot with WF. Sometimes it posts when they run it through and then disappears until they put it through as a transaction. Don't panic!!!

Okay, my breathing has returned to normal and I am no longer hyperventilating. :rofl: It was exactly as you said Cardienscarf. Apparently according to WF this is normal, especially with airline tickets. The airline posts the amount as a 'test' first, to see if it goes through and to make sure the funds are in the bank. Once they see that everything is okay then they put in through as an actual transaction. Seems like a dumb way of doing it..why don't they just put it through the first time as a transaction and if it goes through they KNOW the funds are in the bank??

Now I just have to hope it clears before Tuesday because I was going to go in and close my account !

You can close your account from the other side of the pond if it hasn't cleared. No need to make a special trip in unless you need a lollipop :D

I can? They told me I'd have to go into the branch to do that ! Hmm, no lollipops in my bank..only Tootsie Rolls! :rofl:

According to the WF website, you can close an account online. Just type 'close an account' in the search box and you'll get to it.

But what happens if you still have money in the account?? I think you just want to go to the bank one last time :) They should be able to help you even if you have transactions that haven't cleared. They can see what's pending.

Hopefully my airline ticket with post on Monday, and as that's the only thing I'm waiting to clear then the remaining funds can be withdrawn. :) :thumbsup: But I'll pop into the bank on Tuesday morning anyway. :)

Oh my! To think in just over 24 hours I'll be heading to the airport. To say I feel sick is an understatement. My stomach is doing acrobatics. :eek:

I had the family/friends BBQ yesterday and said my goodbyes so that didn't help.

If I'm like this now, what am I going to be like tomorrow?? :rofl:

You'll be just fine. Have any ginger around? Even ginger ale or candied ginger? Great for the tummy.

Yes...that's what's keeping me sane right now ! :rofl: I was the same when I went to London last year, and the minute I walked through the gate and got on the plane I was fine ! :) :thumbsup: It's just excitement not nerves ! :rofl: I'm so excited I can barely stand it.:rofl:

It's going to be very weird not seeing any posts on here from you whilst you're en route to HOME :)

I bet it seems very surreal to know that tomorrow you'll board the plane and be on your way.

I'm sure when my turn comes I'll be sobbing uncontrollably and sh*tting through the eye of a needle with nerves/panic/excitement ! ( my stomach always gets in knots at the very thought of any major change)

I can't imagine how you're feeling at the moment. . . Best Of Luck and get back on here asap with updates please :)

I still have a few hours to go (5) before I leave for the airport, so I knew I wanted to come back to BE for the last time on US soil :D

Tissues...check! :thumbsup: Video camera....check! I'm determined to record my landings in both London and Manchester lol

I can imagine that because of the terrible tragedy in Boston yesterday, airport security might be a little more vigilant, so keeping my fingers crossed :fingerscrossed: that I can breeze my way though. If anything I'll just bring on the tears and tell them my flight is boarding and I don't want to miss my plane ! :rofl: Which would be 100% true ! Window seats all the way, so I don't have to miss one minute of seeing that first glimpse of home :thumbsup:

Probably ! :rofl: My laptop is the last thing I'll be putting in my backpack, so will be online for as long as possible. Have to make one last trip to the bank and then that is it. :)

I hope I can get as many people as possible 'stalking' my flights..lol, because I'm sure with all those eyes watching the planes wouldn't dare be late touching down. Tail winds all the way ! :thumbsup:

Well my BE friends....the time has come to sign off for now and let my laptop cool down. LOL I'm heading to the airport in 2 hours, so just putting the remaining things in my backpack and I'm good to go. :thumbsup:

I'm so excited, and I know that moment when I get on that plane, everything will just feel so wonderful!
