Incorrect, the power requirement of any gadget effects

Which means it uses 36 times more power than a fridge

So? It is re-used after cooling, you don't waste it, just give it a use
before sending it back to the system.

And, anyway, many hot climates have access to seawater which has a
virtually unlimited supply.
