Why not join the 21st century
I work for a company that allows flexible working.
Some people arrive in the office at 7AM and leave at 3 and others
arrive at 2PM and leave at 10, last but not least 30% just work from
home.

uses less than 150 kWh per annum, about the same

And given Mixi has the a/c blasting away with the windows open on a
nowhere near hot day, I think it's safe to say he uses a bit more than
that...
