Late Summer I'll be in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome. I'll also be
traveling to NYC, New Orleans, Chicago, Yosemite National Park/Lake
Tahoe and Catalina Island before autumn.

We leave end of June for 2 weeks in Denmark, the first week in Skagen to
view and photo the famous sunsets there. Couple of days in Copenhagen both
ends of the trip.

I did about 10 days in CZ last summer and have mentioned to some
Czech-related American friends that we ought to put together a Czech
reunion trip - or Grand Tour - sometime. Brno is definitely on my list.
If it comes to pass, it can't help but be perfect. I finer group of
guys and gals you'd never know. Great friends all.
Wish us luck. :-)

I don't even know what it is! My La Monnaie tickets are for
the 14th, 21st & 23rd (there are other performances, but van
Dam is not singing in them) and the open air concert on the
Grand Place is the 18th. I have my confirmed hotel
reservations and have my airline ticket and opera tickets in
hand, so if you're merely warning me it may be crowded,
thanks, but I think I'm okay. (On the other hand, if you're
recommending something I should see, please tell me more.)

I would recommend heading to one of the smaller towns in the east of
Slovakia instead. Some of them are really nice, and are cheaper and
easy to get to. Bratislava would rate as No. 1 for the most
forgettable capital in Europe in my books (and that includes
Brussels!).

Maybe I will travel to Dresden, too. Well, it isn't that far from Mainz.

Andalucia, Galicia, Wasdale and the Northern Isles are all
booked, I see they are talking about another fuel blockade, hope
that doesn't ruin the northern isles!
I dont know if these all count as travel or "just" holidays? We
wont be doing any suffering, hopefully, all but the northern
isles I have been to before, two are in the same country as my
start point.
I regard the northern isles as more "travel" than the rest, even
though airports and foreign languages are not involved.
I see you mentioned "done" so here is my page of snaps from my
last trip to Cornwall and its many prevous versions:-

When we were in Ireland last year, we ran into a group called Irish
Cycling Safaris. They have a number of tours in Ireland and it seemed
to be a really fun group, with people of all ages and many
nationalities. Many of them were repeat customers, which is always a
good recommendation. They travel from B&B to B&B, with a support van.
They said they made plenty of pub stops. One of them, a repeat
customer, joked that it was a group for drinkers with a cycling
problem. This particular man had one artificial leg, and maybe he also
found cycling easier than walking.
