Hell's Angels often behave well in public. I frequently criticize them
on the Internet and they even say hi to me on the street sometimes
still. Richard Reed the son of an ex-Hell's Angel was the original
airplane shoe bomber from a few years and Villy Roy Lynnerup a HA Sgt.
Of Arms was arrested at Vancouver Airport not long ago for trying to
board a plane with a loaded firearm. You can find the info through a
Google search. Don't forget they are a terrorist org as well as a
criminal gang. The 9/11 hijackers never caused any problems when
travelling until the day they launched their attack.

Check out his story of air rage fueled yet again by alcohol on a
flight that started in Europe:

Air-rage suspect on Phoenix-bound flight finds a little luck
Canadian Press
Mar. 7, 2007 12:17 PM

WINNIPEG - Be it due to leprechauns, four-leaf clovers or just good
old Irish luck, David McAuliffe's unexpected stay in Manitoba has
turned out better than it could have.

McAuliffe found himself in jail for three nights after his drunken air
rage forced a Phoenix-bound British Airways jet to make an emergency
stop in Winnipeg last Saturday.

The Crown originally argued against bail for the red-faced 38-year-old
computer executive, but he was sprung from jail Tuesday after the
Irish Association of Manitoba agreed to temporarily take him under its
wing.

He was also cleared by immigration officials to go home after his
court appearance Thursday and given room and board by some kind-
hearted strangers.

Association board member John Keely acted as McAuliffe's tour guide.
He picked him up from the Winnipeg Remand Centre and then drove him
around the city to make crucial arrangements.

"It's been a long two days," Keely told the Winnipeg Free Press.

Keely first took McAuliffe to the airport where he spent a few hours
sorting out immigration issues stemming from his arrest. Keely also
managed to find McAuliffe a place to stay after a club member agreed
to put him up for a few nights and helped make arrangements to ensure
the accidental tourist will be allowed to fly home after his court
appearance.

"British Airways probably doesn't want to see him again, but we've
spoken to Air Canada and there's no problem. They'll take him home,"
said Keely.

McAuliffe was in a "highly emotional state" and not ready to publicly
talk about what happened, he said.

"He's a very good fellow who made a stupid mistake. You go and get
drunk in a pub, no problem. But you do it in a plane and you've got a
big problem."

Defense lawyer Gerri Wiebe told court earlier this week that McAuliffe
was flying with a co-worker to Arizona for a training seminar after
recently being promoted. He has been an anxious flyer since he and
several other passengers suffered injuries about five years ago when a
plane bounced off a runway in England and the cabin de-pressurized,
she said.

Court heard McAuliffe had been a wreck since learning he'd have to fly
to the United States for his job and went on a 24-hour drinking binge
immediately before leaving on his flight from London. He then consumed
wine and two Valium tablets while on the flight.

McAuliffe asked the flight crew for more alcohol but was refused
service because he was drunk. He began yelling and swearing and
slapped a passenger in the face and threatened to kill the man's
wife.

McAuliffe eventually had to be handcuffed to his seat, court was
told.

A British Airways spokeswoman said flight attendants served McAuliffe
three single-serving bottles of wine commonly found on aircraft, but
stopped when it was obvious he was drunk.

Winnipeg police were called to meet the plane at the gate and
McAuliffe was arrested. He could barely walk or stand and had to be
told four different times where he was.

McAuliffe has agreed to pay more than $15,000 restitution to British
Airways, which was the total cost to bring the jumbo jet down for the
unscheduled stop.

He is unlikely to face any other sanctions, but a criminal record will
make future travel difficult.

http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/art...unk07-ON.html#

He ended up being fined $17,000.

That was before a strategically applied hand to the seat of
the child's trousers was included in the definition of
"child abuse"! (I got my share of spankings as a kid, as
did all my contemporaries - none of us grew up to claim we'd
been "abused"!)

Nowadays it's preferable to psychologically scar a child with guilt.

No bruises that way.
