Yes it was very nice...
The guests should have an amazing holiday here.. We even left them beach towels and beach chairs (expensive to rent) and even beach bags to carry them in.
Hopefully they take care of the place and don´t reck it...... If they do then I will just have to do like all the other apartment owners and take all the nice stuff away when we are not here..... I hope not because I really want people to enjoy the place.

Yes we have 3 systems.
1) A manager on the ground who is from the UK who speaks both languages and meets the people greets them and helps them as they may need.
2) A maintenance company with a manager from south africa who speaks both UK english and Portugese who also is availabe to help them and who drops by mid week to change the sheets towels etc and to see how the place is.
They also check the place and inventory everything after they leave before we release the security payment.
3) A virtual tour of the place that is digital so the maintenance people can easily compare what is there after the person leaves with what was there.
We are hoping to slowly build a nice group of people who will come back each year and treat the place as if it was their home and that is why we are making it so much like a home with a touch of high class hotel.

We were invited to a 'tarts and parsons' party, men went as the tarts and us women as the parsons. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Weather here has been muito cack but seems to have brighttened up today. Looked for your shop Gazz but couldnt find it in Lagos. I'll look again today and may pop in to say hello. Considering going up to Cascais tomorrow for one night before moving on to Leiria.
Algarve so far.....?
Not for us I'm afraid. Just one of many thousands of Tourists here and treated as such despite my best efforts. Also got ripped off in Burgau so we're both looking forward to the second part of our trip.
