Re: CABANAS GOLF DEVELOPERS DUJA
We had a wander around this area last week and looked inside one of the detached town houses. They are very impressive. Have any of them been occupied yet and are they still being sold.
Tried reading back through the forum but there are so many entries it is hard to follow what is the latest situation with the development. |
Re: CABANAS GOLF DEVELOPERS DUJA
We are buying on Cabanas Beach 1 and are waiting for the habitation licence to be issued, has anyone heard anything about Tavira council not issuing it until a side road to the development has been made? We have only just returned from there and they look fantastic ready to move into, gardens even planted and pools full!

Hi jeffg
In one of your pictures is a road train, does that run up as far as RGC2 and how often does it run ? Only asking because that would be a blessing. I've bought on RCG2 and still waiting for habitation license which they tell me should be all approved this month |
Re: CABANAS GOLF DEVELOPERS DUJA
Hi,
That train does go as far as Cabanas Golf complex, it runs all the way thro' the village down to the boat to the beach, but don't know how often, it seemed a lot tho'. |

When i invested in the apartment the price quoted was 225,000 euros then 156,000 pounds now three years on 225,000 is a lot more than 156,000 pounds is there anything that can be done about the ammount that i have to pay due to the delays that i have had. I was originally told the development would be ready in January 07.Any advice would be appreciated
Just wondering, did you have a contract of any kind with delay clauses? |

I have to presume that you used an independent lawyer, if you used the companies lawyer or did not employ one then I think you might have a problem. If you don't have a lawyer/solicitor then I strongly suggest you employ one, he/she can then advise you what action can be taken. There is nothing you can do about the exchange rate it goes up and down all the time, you just have to catch it when and if you have the money to exchange in the direction you need the cash. By the way in my humble opinion I think the price you paid was quite high. Does it come with the all the kitchen appliances fitted, air conditioning fitted and prepared for solar? Joao:D |

Hi & welcome
Just wondering, did you have a contract of any kind with delay clauses? Dont bother getting worthless assurances from the company because any verbal or written assurances will be worthless. |

After all this time I would be quite p***** off about the whole thing especially the loss of approximately 23,000 pounds. I presume you paid a deposit and signed a promissory contract? In that contract it should have stated the date (more or less) when the developments was going to be finished and you could move in.
