Hi All

I am new to this and didnt realise how many problems there are with Duja. My father has bought properties in Portugal and we are taking court proceedings for breach of contract. Has anyone been through the court proceedings with Duja?

I am a little worried as i have just been informed that Duja Spain have now gone into voluntary administration by the solicitor. Please help with this i am VERY concerned!!!!

Hi we had the exact same thing happen to use. We are going through court proceedings. It was Roseberry stokesley as well a$$holes

Duja Portugal are a separate company from Duja Spain.
It appears that a vast number of people bought thru Roseberrys.
Not only have they caused buyers problems certainly done Duja no favours.
We completed last year..very happy with our apartment and the great location

Roseberry are regulated by the Financial Ombudsman service but the Ombudsman has no jurisdiction with regard to overseas property investments.
If you wish to sue Roseberry it will have to be a private suit.Is anyone in the process of doing this? If so we would like to come aboard and pool information.

[I]hi just to let people know how we eventually and finally completed our apartment. having give up on " your place abroad" our agents who sold the apartment to us back in sept 05 no one there ever called us back contacted us or helped in any way at all,so jason,kevin and ricki, and everyone else at y.p.a you are useless,lying gang of tosspots!!! :thumbdown:

with the help of the team at duja in tavira we moved from a penthouse apartment to a ground floor still facing the pool and saving in excess of 50,000 euros, which helped in obtaining a mortgage.

we got the keys 5 weeks ago and are very pleased with the property,all the snagging was completed to our satisfaction,pool.outside lights,gardens etc all fantastic.
a lovely complex in a wonderful part of the algarve, we even had that drink with luis he promised us all ! so for us duja helped us all the way so a big thanks to luis,celia and sancho. well done:thumbsup:

Hi,

I've been watching this thread for over a year, probably 2 years plus.

We've been waiting for years for YPA to sort 3 apartments out for us. Due to circumstances we wanted to 'flip' 2 out of the 3. Apparently some consortium are buying a load of apartments in the golf development and there's been a number of delays, like the council not passing the work (painting?) and then it was getting the apartments all valued. Apparently there's a board meeting on Monday for the consortium. We just hope we haven't lost our money - we just don't know what's going on. For the past 2 years it's been, "it should be this month, if not next".

I know it's not easy but if I was you I would sort it out yourself,in the end it would be better for yourself, I just forgot ypa and spoke to Duja,any help needed I don't mind telling you what I did

The only name I can remember was Celia? That might have been the solicitor over there.

Apparently YPA have got money to invest in the golf development and they've in the same boat as their clients.

I have just come back from Cabanas (Thursday). Everything is looking fine. The waterfront should be finished in a couple of weeks. All the board walk and hand rails are finished. And the pavements have been widened to allow more seating outside the bars and so on. I think its going to look really nice.

Does anyone have any contact details for Celia or Luis I have tried them on the ones I have but it gets returned un answered. I called at the office on a couple of occassions but there was no answer.

Hi

I am a new member and I am trying to find out if anyone has sold their property through "your place abroad" to an investment fund.

It seems Y.P.A. have the phones disconnected.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. This property should have been flipped agas ago.
