For those on Beach 2.....the cranes are on site just waiting assembly..so the start cannot be too far away.

Phase 2. The grassland downhill side of the football pitch has gone and the area fenced in.Near to the football pitch there is going to be a one level day centre.....and downhill of this will be landscaped.Would have preferred nothing
but once they landscape shouldn't be too bad.Duja are not going to landscape by the green fence on the L shaped Phase 2.....this is going to be done when the daycentre is all finished off.

The overgrowth remains..Luis is going to try and get the town hall to do something about this as risk from fire.Probably a breeding ground for mossies and looks a right eyesore....which is a pity as the rest of the development and area is superb.

We now have a crane in the area where the pool is going to go...probably for the construction of the day centre.

Its going to be dusty and nosiy this summer...not good news for those hoping to rent out.No doubt the pool will be constantly full of dirt

Condiminium

Our block in the L shape phase 2 not yet cleaned up...but they have apparently started the tidy up.Lifts not working yet and won't be until condiminium fully sorted.

Our pool was cleaned whilst we were there..but unfortunately with the dust and high winds it was very dirty 24hrs later.

We asked Luis for a couple of loungers and a parasol....he let us borrow a couple off phase 1 and has it in hand to get them sorted...huge cost difference buying locally to buying in bulk from trade warehouse..so appears in hand and no doubt Luis will update this when done.

We did ask to have our snag list sorted in our 2 weeks there but it never happened ... hopefully when we get over there next time they will be able to do it.

Had problems with the front door to our block....a good dose of WD 40 sorted that out though.

When they come to do your gas there has to be somebody present..they have to do a safety check and that costs you 56 euro's

We bought most of our furniture in Portugal last year....the quality is excellent...well worth all the time we spent visiting different stores.Saved a fortune and got great quality as well.

We got 5 keys for our front door,2 for the postbox,3 for the utility yet only one for the main front door to the block..which is the one you need most of.Soon got the front door entrance ones cut in Tavira so no problem.

The apartment build and area are superb and we have no regrets about buying from Duja.Having spoken to other buyers who were there we have all shared the same frustrations over the last few years.The communication from Duja has been poor and it must have caused them problems so many people asking the same questions over and over...a simple newsletter that could be e mailed to all the buyers giving them updates would have avoided a lot of the frustrations for both Duja and ourselves.The Opomar development the other side of the railway have a good website with photos and newsletters....they are winning on that one.( I wouldn't swop my apartment for one of theirs though..even though they cost a lot more)

All the best for those waiting to get out their and kit it all out....we're all done and happy about it.Will be better when area all finished off...so hopefully won't be too long.I'm sure Luis will update when he knows about start and completion dates for the Town hall plans

No idea....the check was internal as well on bolier and cooker.I wasn't there to ask..my sister let them in to do it.Reached a stage where just cough up ...everything costs so just pay up to get things done

I thought it was to try and help people,and discuss problems others may have,some things are just better kept personnel hence the private messages,

You got it right in the first part of your sentence, to help other members, if the information is kept secret then it does not help others that may have the same problem.
As you say, private information is best kept off forums and sent by email.
