Passed the sport this morning, I'm happy
Stanx and Fudockan already gave us relevant information.
I can also give you a little info:
18 candidates, 16 men, 2 women.
From 30 to 50 years old.
13 or 12 have succeeded, the others have failed.
Beware of the flags for the 10×10, it falls easily.
Apart of the flags, If you fell down on the floor you can try again, the crew give you time to recover, they are very friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere was great between the candidates.
the beep test is done all together, the table I already sent is useful, the 7 first shuttles of the level 1 have to be done in 9s, so you have the time, you can engage more energy since the 3rd or 4 th level, depending on your physical shape of course.
You have to respect the right execution technique for the push ups and the abs.
they show you everything before it begins.
Stanx already wrote that Frontex's crew are here to support us and helping us to succeed, it is 100% like that.
the test take place indoor, it is heated and they give us water.
Good luck for the coming candidates, exercice, believe in yourselves and you will do it.

(the beep test is done all together, the table I already sent is useful) What table is that? Can you repost please?
For the 10x10m test , one must be able to run each 10meter roughly in about 3 seconds? Is that correct?
For the 20m Shuttle , one must be able to run 1.1km in less than 7 minutes ?
Thanks in advance !

Congratulations Brubru , good luck on the interview . I have a couple of questions for you

Beep test table.
For the 10x10 you are right about the 3s, but you have to do it so fast that it is complicated to count or manage your time, you have to give all you can and take care of the turn.
For the 20 m shuttle run you are also right, the problem is that you are not doing it launched, I mean that every 20 meters you have to make a turn, wait for the beep, gain speed again, and so on, you can't anticipate the next beep.
So the rythme is quiet different than a normal 1 km, it is harder.
The best way to manage it is by practising it, you ll find relevant beep test on you tube.
And another important thing is that the time that have to be done depends on your age.

Brubru, or anyone else who was at the physics, can you confirm that the beep test is according to this table? Online are different versions, most of them at level 8 have 11 shuttles, not only 10. At level 2 most of them go to 9kmph.
It is quite important to know, because the 0.5 kmph is a deal breaker for most of the candidates.

To be honest, I personally think that the sit ups and the 10x10 m requirements are a bit too much. It's almost like joining the Marine Corps.
And the 10x10m and sit up time frames are not in proportion to the push ups/shuttle-beep requirements.
