That sounds like a great idea using your hubbies occupation rather than yours - it can't be easy for you increasing your hours with such a young family to look after. Why not post on the Immi forum to see if there are any plasterers - the TRA does sound a nightmare. Maybe consider using an agent because I think TRA can be very difficult.

we pondered breifly about using an agent, but from recent posts I think we will be better doing it ourselves.
thankfully, i have been able to get info from kris m, she's pointing me in the right direction!

ARRR sue, you still having problems with NHS P ?? glad your looking at other ways to get there, good luck with this

well im still waiting for QNC!!!! OVER 2 MONTHS NOW!! have tried to pin them down to a rough date but it seems impossible so it looks like im going for full skill assessment and sod the money!!, we have had to take our mortgage off fixed rate and onto very high interest rate, to avoid a redemption fee when we repay, so every month im in the uk its costing me over £100
extra in mortgage costs alone!!! so an extra +/- £150 for the full skill assessment is suddenly not so bad......................... 
watch this space, iv got solicitors tuesday and interparcel to collect full skill assessment if no QNC reg by then.....................please QNC reg come through before this

I will be keeping everything crossed for a miracle b4 Tuesday! Good luck mate and I agree £150 isn't that much in the grand scheme of things in this instance with a morgage like yours (ouch!)

Well can't believe it. I casually looked at my emails this afternoon for something else, only to find a very nice email from Adelaide saying that they granted our Visa.
YIPPEEE!
After so long about 15 months since we first started pulling things together.
We had let things take their course and stopped thinking about Australia night and day whilst we waited for the underwriters to look at our medical information but now that it has finally arrived, its back into top gear to review all options again.
Gosh - now the hard work really begins.
Well can't believe it. I casually looked at my emails this afternoon for something else, only to find a very nice email from Adelaide saying that they granted our Visa.
YIPPEEE!
After so long about 15 months since we first started pulling things together.
We had let things take their course and stopped thinking about Australia night and day whilst we waited for the underwriters to look at our medical information but now that it has finally arrived, its back into top gear to review all options again.
Gosh - now the hard work really begins.
