Ahhhhhhh…….yes Melbourne.
I’m no expert but I found the Southern suburbs a bit like Reigate in Surrey, my hometown.
The closer I got to the city the more like East Croydon, especially with all the graffiti and the city center just really like London, except warm.
At first I quite liked Melbourne but now……….I’m undecided, it appears cultured (I am not) and yet there is just something missing, I have no idea what it is but it just does not float my boat. Ho hum!
I’m no expert but I found the Southern suburbs a bit like Reigate in Surrey, my hometown.
The closer I got to the city the more like East Croydon, especially with all the graffiti and the city center just really like London, except warm.
At first I quite liked Melbourne but now……….I’m undecided, it appears cultured (I am not) and yet there is just something missing, I have no idea what it is but it just does not float my boat. Ho hum!

The airport is easy to get to.
I visited Vancover last yr and it rained some of the time, it was cold but it was October. I didn't feel as comfortable walking around the city as I did in Melbourne. IMHO
