Thanks JG, I had no idea you could 'make' your own suet. I always used suet in pastry back home, it tastes sooo much better, now I can try it here and maybe make my own for pies over the Holidays

Lamb.

I know you can buy it, but it just does not taste as good.

I did hear something about US lamb being killed younger (or was it older), and that may be why.

You just have to keep mentioning them don't you? I had almost forgotten about them since you last talked about them, and now I want some again too

I can't help myself I really do think of them every day. The adverts about being a crunchy nut addict are really just about me.

People have offered to send me some, but unless they can commit to sending a box a week for the rest of their lives I'm not interested. The addiction would start all over again and the crash would be too hard to take

Maybe find an Asian butcher? Indian etc...

They eat allot of lamb so the quality may be better. It's not something I have tried but it's an idea.

Anyone missing jaffa cakes should go to the nearest Polish shop/deli. They have a near perfect copy of them and in many flavours.

I didn't see how much the delivery charge was, but life is short! Get yourself an order every now and then.

Ouch, just under 26 pounds shipping for two boxes ... makes me realize what a bargain the Next $10 shipping/order is! Maybe get it as an occasional treat.

They are ludicrously tasty! The world heavyweight champions of breakfast cereals without doubt.
