Lamb.
I know you can buy it, but it just does not taste as good.
I did hear something about US lamb being killed younger (or was it older), and that may be why.

People have offered to send me some, but unless they can commit to sending a box a week for the rest of their lives I'm not interested. The addiction would start all over again and the crash would be too hard to take

since i moved here 4 years ago lamb seems more available with time, meijers has some but australian, jewel carries US lamb, usually shanks and shoulder chops, locally theres a store (the blue goose in st charles IL)that sells a good selection of cuts of US lamb, so its getting better.

They eat allot of lamb so the quality may be better. It's not something I have tried but it's an idea.
Anyone missing jaffa cakes should go to the nearest Polish shop/deli. They have a near perfect copy of them and in many flavours.

Ouch, just under 26 pounds shipping for two boxes ... makes me realize what a bargain the Next $10 shipping/order is! Maybe get it as an occasional treat.
