That's news to me. I didn't realise there were special rules about that. It certainly helps to explain why there's no choice of food though.

Prices may come down slightly, but not the extent that the majority of UK supermarket fans believe. Most of them think just because Tesco's is here, they'll get the same discounts as they would in the UK. Not going to happen.

Interesting comments about the barbies - I think there are many fewer than there were even 5 years ago. I certainly dont smell them in the neighbourhood as much as I used to and I think people are finding that the restaurant scene - the coffe shops, yum chas, etc - are much more appealing than a greasy snag while you shoo away the flies.
I bought our first bbq a couple of years ago - and if we have used it 3 times in 2 years that is about all. I wish I hadnt bothered now.
