'Eye massagers' in the UAE
Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever successfully smuggled in a *ahem* personal massager into the UAE? I've just packed my husband off back home to Abu Dhabi with a nice little purchase I made in the Ann Summers sale this August. I'll be following him shortly but I'm flying with my parents so we reckoned it would be best if he flew with it to save us all a bit of potential embarrassment! We've removed all batteries and everything but I'm just wondering how wise they are to things like this? It's not a big realistic looking thing so I'm wondering what my chances are of him getting through with it? It wasn't cheap, and I've taken to it quite fondly.
Any takers?

Assuming this isn't a wind up, all carry on and checked bags are x-rayed on arrival into the UAE and I've read stories of other people having problems with similar stuff so I would guess the chance of being busted is not insignificant. Most likely if you get caught it'll be just confiscation and/or a small fine, but is it really worth the risk?

Confiscations are common I hear. Ocassionally people get them through without fuss though as well.
However if you get the wrong customs guy on the wrong day you or your husband might end up in a Daily Mail article.

Lol, you think thats advanced, has anyone seen a sybian? The rolls royce of non human ways to please a woman. Well i imported one marked as exercise equipment, they never batted an eyelid, but one female customs agent just looked and said ‘nice, must be the only one for 1000 miles’ she knew.... I felt like giving her my number, but thats just taking the xxxxJust google sybian porn and watch any of the videos that it finds.

Trey scan your bag on arrival but not you. Put it in a pocket or somewhere else.
Alteratively sandwich it between a laptop and an iPad in the bag. It’ll be so complicated to spot it. Apparently people have got in a monster one with rabbit ears and ball bearings on the basis. On two occasions.

If anyone knows of whome i speak, its like sharing a flat with a guy called mandingo.
It has a well deserved reputation, ive seen its effect. Women who know look at you wistfully and ask to visit me and my friend. I swear it has got me friends with benefits several times and is thus well worth its outlay and the hassle of import.

Electric toothbrushes are sold openly. What about hand held massagers? I mean the sort used for massaging the back generally.
Sybians are pretty impressive, a friend had one but his gf was home all day while he worked. He'd get home in the evening and she would be a wreck so it wasn't much fun for him. It broke after a while and I don't think he ever fixed it
Exercise equipment, hmm, might be an idea for other stuff.
