I just tell her no problem - the garage is nice and big with a padlock!

What happens when they meet you and find out you're not wicked?
Shovelling snow sounds like a plan for my nephew - but what does he do when it is up to his nose!?

For example my sister thinks I'm mean because I don't allow my son (he's 5) to have a TV in his bedroom.

It's interesting - i have two sets of nieces and nephews about same age. On one side I am seen as relatively soft, the other as being pretty strict - can quieten them with just one teacher look! Suppose it depends on what they are used to
.
I never had a telly in my room until i was about 16, even then it didn't work too well (coat hanger arial), never bothered me, I was always happier reading.

What's the big deal about TVs? Surely it's safer than the kids being out on the streets dealing crack and being picked up by paedophiles? Don't you people read the papers?
