I just tell her no problem - the garage is nice and big with a padlock!

What happens when they meet you and find out you're not wicked?

Shovelling snow sounds like a plan for my nephew - but what does he do when it is up to his nose!?

They've already met me and they know Auntie Elaine is not soft, unlike their mother For example my sister thinks I'm mean because I don't allow my son (he's 5) to have a TV in his bedroom.

It's interesting - i have two sets of nieces and nephews about same age. On one side I am seen as relatively soft, the other as being pretty strict - can quieten them with just one teacher look! Suppose it depends on what they are used to .

I never had a telly in my room until i was about 16, even then it didn't work too well (coat hanger arial), never bothered me, I was always happier reading.

My sister's kids are 6 and 5 and have had TVs and DVD players in their rooms for at least two years.

What's the big deal about TVs? Surely it's safer than the kids being out on the streets dealing crack and being picked up by paedophiles? Don't you people read the papers?

Our first visit was jan last year and again in august last year, in august we was all hiding in the woods none of us wanted to come back
Since then its all systems go, although not ontario now we have a reci booked to alberta as hubby has lined up (or i have) quiet a few interviews.
kids are 9,5 and 3, eldest is well up for it, but 5yr old has just advised that hes going to live with grandad, yeah another bit of advise dont tell granparents what you are doing
never mind this time next month we will all be on the airplane heading to calgary
So you finally decided Ontario was too polluted and came for the clean air of Alberta, eh?
