The only thing I have against Pardew is that he's proved unable to deal sensibly with Hatem Ben Arfa, clearly the most skilled player in the squad. I'm even prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one because Ben Arfa can be a bit selfish and refuses to contribute defensively when needed.
