The Toon Army / EPL thread

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
I watched that game, The second Fulham goal was not bad either.
Hard to compare goals but certainly that is I'd say the best volley I've ever seen in the Premier League.
He produces it whilst running at full speed. Quite phenomenal.

Talking of Chelsea, good result today against Schalke. Less good for the Arse against Dortmund.
Are Ajax any good these days? Because losing to a Scottish team must be an embarrassment you'd think.
BTW, you get kudos for the first post on page 300 of this venerable thread.

Agreed. But Papiss Cisse's goal against Chelsea was better.

We have Vertonghen and Eriksen at Tottenham. Both good players and both from Ajax.

Newcastle fans should take heed of the underlying seriousness of this message:

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
I'm sure most agree that Di Canio didn't have a clue, now, their new manager has apparently gone to press with comments such as urging the "fans to make Stadium of Light a hostile cauldron for Newcastle" and “We need to attack more, defend better”. Genius!
My prediction is 2:3, 9 yellow cards, 3 sending-offs, 349 arrests and a giant black cat punched out by an angry drunk ex-policehorse.

I just hope we don't get a referee like this one on Sunday...

SAFC have a fair chance of breaking Derby's record points score this season. When one club gets left a long way behind it makes the scramble for 4th bottom more entertaining.

I'm not going to comment on your second paragraph because it's so near to Halloween and we'll have enough hexing anyway.
