Fair comment.

The several hammers I have met in my life have all been thoroughly decent chaps. Up there with the Southampton lot. I hope they both kick around for a few years.

He was probably invited to the Queens do recently or promised tickets to the olympics

It won't happen.

Some speculation on Manchester United but I think if he wants Money and Trophies it will be City or Madrid.

Clearly, on performances England are hugely flattered by the rankings. However, on results they are ranked 4th. Suprising - yes.

it is the way results are graded which is the flawed part of the Fifa rankings...friendlies should count for nothing because they are meaningless..only tournament and qualifying results should count.

0:49 Misuse of skill to cure the injured (hope I'm not the only one who burst out laughing when I first saw this ).

Did you see how quick the painfully injured player got up and shot across. Beckham should be glorified as a saint, the second coming.

What with the John Terry racism verdict due today, I'm trying to familiarise myself with the allegations.

Terry allegedly said to Ferdinand "... you f***ing black c****, f***ing knobhead".

Terry's defence is that he actually said "I never called you a f***ing black c****, f***ing knobhead".

Unfortunately, just at the crucial moment, Ashley Cole's head got in the way of the camera, so we might never know the truth.

F***ing knobhead.

Not guilty as: "Insufficient evidence in racism case. It was becoming clear in Riddle's words that Terry might be found not guilty The noise, confusion and lack of lip-reading evidence the crux."

Which I think means "A guilty verdict would be a message to the public that it's perfectly fine for Joey Barton to kick the crap out of anyone on the football field, provided that, he doesn't get caught verbalising the colour of their skin while doing it"...
