Perhaps there is a minimum number of contiguous homo words necessary to make alliteration effective, linguistic-wise? |

But, now is the time for serious contemplation.
'Tis but a mere half a day or so until the Toon faces the biggest humiliation of the year so far. The mighty Rams are looking for their second win of the season....and their first home-away double. I'm afraid to look. |

I wonder where these two are from? If yer Geordies give us a sing of "Fog on the Tyne". HAHA Britishvixen is from Essex, im from the westend of Newcastle, Anyway Byker is barely in Newcastle in my opinion...... but yep your right Byker grove is set somewhere in Benwell /Scotswood i think.... |

Give it time. Like the Toon, it's a Sleeping Giant and a Massive Thread which has The Best Fans in the World. ahh the misguided geordie, where would we be without the overweight tattooed semi naked newcastle fan, hoping in vain that his team might actually win something, anything, bingo, the raffle, tombola, you name it just put our name on something pppllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssse. bless. |

BTW, you have to give an indication of your EPL loyalty: I mean. it's only fair. For all we know you're a fat, tatooed, semi-naked fan of some other team. |
Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
ahh ok then, yes i am a man utd fan, and before you say it, yes i'm from manchester, just outside salford, and i'll cough it, i've got a tattoo, don't do semi-naked though, too much of a big girl.
i'll never forget the day andy cole signed for us, and some halfwit was on the news with his new andy cole tattoo. classic geordie. |

i've actually found some reference to it, but i think it was on his arm, then again there of course is probably more than one, ho ho ho. |

another one, still on the leg, hmm. but more disturbingly reference just below of another chris waddle single. what have we done to deserve a follow up to diamond lights. can't you tell there in nothing on the tv, we could not get a babysitter and the wife is in bed. |
Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
Since 1995, NUFC have of course brought in a rule that stupid people aren't allowed to buy season tickets (although they are free to mutilate their bodies at will). I thought this was well known, even down south around Manchester?

i can't get into any more trouble at the moment mate, it seems my british bobby sense of humour is not appreciated by the locals. if monitored i will blame all on hacking and ditch the PC. though i may just have cocked this alibi up with last comment. |

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
a few newcastle jokes for you and i'm off for the night, all the best.
A man hands over a £50 note to the tturnstileoperator at newcastle. Man: Two please. TTurnstileOperator: Will that be defenders or strikers, sir? Q. What is the difference between newcastle and a cafe? A. A cafe has more cups! Big sam tried to sign Ronnie O'Sullivan. He reckoned points wouldn't be enough - he needed snookers! Q. How do you know if your newspaper is upside down? A. Newcastle are top of the table! Q: What do you get when you offer a newcastle fan a penny for his thoughts? A: Change! Sam Allardyce, the newcastle manager was caught speeding on his way to the stadium today. "I'll do anything for 3 points", he said when questioned What have Newcastle got in common with the Australian weather? Pretty hot until December/January then cools right down and is no worry whatsoever! What is the difference between Alan Shearer and a pint of Boddington's? The beer's a whole lot cheaper and you get to put your hands on the cup! (my ffavoritewith the manc boddies reference) |
Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
Well it's difficult to follow after rae's witty repartee, but there's a new Toon joke today.
Newcastle 2-2 Derby. (doomed, I tells yer, doomed). |

Ronaldo's late penalty gives Manchester United 2-1 victory over Everton
1 hour ago LONDON - Cristiano Ronaldo's late penalty gave Manchester United a 2-1 victory over Everton on Sunday and the Red Devils again moved within a point of Arsenal in the Premier League. merry christmas. |

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
As ever on occasions such as today's result, the Toon Army's collective eye looks down with satisfaction at yet another defeat for the mackems.
"Wey man, w' might be ****** bad, but wor berrer than them buggars." As an aside and as a free contribution to the wisdom of our readers, the Germans have a word for teams like S*nderland...they're called Fahrzugmannschaften, which literally means "elevator teams". They oscillate up and down between divisions, doing well among the dross but never managing to maintain a place among the top class. I like the concept. |

I don't disllike Newcastle, it's more a case of a strong dislike of Sam Allardyce's tactics when he was Bolton manager. I'm also having much fun this season watching Tottenham's league position and waiting for them to be knocked out of Europe..... |

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
After our brilliant draw at home against the bottom club, the Massive Toon Team face a far stiffer challenge tomorrow.
The second bottom club away. This should sort the men from the boys. < but I think I know the outcome of that already > |
