Took advantage of Domino's 50% off everything Monday. On line order and collected from up the road a bit.

16" Philly steak pizza, 20 wings and a 10" cheese, garlic and bacon. $32 total.

Way too much for the four of us. Will do snack tonight and lunch tomorrow as well.

Bargain.

I think it's going to be a pasta night, pork meatballs with peppers, penne and some kind of alfredo sauce, possibly in combination with a Knorr Sidekick envelope, but nothing's written in stone, and I'm thinking it through.
Look, something 3 years old out of the VQA rack for under $10, and it's good! I'll take 2 of these to the city tomorrow to have with our traditional oyster supper at my host's place.

A riesling? How very 1970s. Actually a highly underrated wine. We get a nice bottle at christmas for the HID's mum.

Edited to note, due a rather larger G&T, we're having a somewhat butchered but extremely fresh coho salmon for our tea tonight.

It's not something I used to do until I had one at one of those kiosk type bars by the marina at Monaco and discovered it was a great combination. Went down a treat with a cold beer.

Not a fan of mayo, although in a BLT it might just be passable. But on a cheese sandwich? Totally unnecessary and rather, well, see the previous smilie. Butter is also a no no, unless it is a toasted sandwich. On the other hand, butter and ham...heaven.

Yes, with all the other bits in between it reads like an expensive perfume

Salmon steaks. Three for $9.75.

Nice but a couple of surprises. They weren't descaled. Every time I had them in the UK they were. There were also many more bones than just the spiny one in the middle.

Might this have been because I bought the Atlantic $6 a lb ones rather than the $12 a lb Sockeye ones?

Hmmmm? I love mash and I love mayo and hot salsa but can't imagine them all joining up-might give it a go one day.
Last night was iceberg lettuce, 2 spicy Italian sausage and....mayo
