Luckily I met her before I ever heard her on the radio, she didn't sound so dreadful in person so I think she piles it on for the meejah.

Re: Suitable role models?
How about parents and grandparents who have moral and ethical values that include tolerance, acceptance, love, and the ability show compassioon for those less fortunate. These traits, if passed down to their kids, will make them wonderful caring and nurturing adults.
My role models are my parents and grandparents, both sets who immigrated to canada with next-to-nothing, had a fabulous work and moral ethics and became valuable members of society. Once they became canadians they never looked back.
I hope that jim and I are passing on the same values to our two small kids.
Why would any parent want someone else to be a role model for their kids. This is something that the parents should be teaching their kids everyday.

Ahhh, DBD and you a tree-hugger? Here he is: http://www.seashepherd.org/crew-watson.html
I did think he was an Australian for ages until I heard him speaking, and then (shamefully) I thought he was a Yank for a while.

Not having kids, I think it would be great if parents brought up their daughters to look like sexy French newsreaders. It'd make the world a much more cheerful place.
