ah c'mon - that's not what she's really known for though, is it? And she never did that on Mary Poppins

Mrs Miggins is an unknown quantity at this point

Maya Angelou. No contest. Triumphed over adversity in many many ways. Not a victim, just an inspirational survivor.

For a boy, Charlie Watts. Stoically stuck at a job he doesn't particularly like for years on end, dutifully made a fortune for his family, didn't diddle any children or inhale any dead parents, unfortunate penchant for naming children ridiculously but otherwise the Alf Tupper de nos annees, innit?

Good, but not quite right, dbd.

I'll bet Charlie Watts never had to rush to a gig on the overnight coal train after a full shift in the foundry, grabbing a greasy fish supper just before the show!

He did keep his day job for yonks after they were selling records but I fear it was a white collar job and, of course, we never had any of that messy "industry" stuff in London.

I invited him over. If he hurries he can even help unload and stack 200 small square hay bales. Actually, strike that, a real man like him could probably carry them all in one go.

That must be a horrible drive. Do you go 400/89 or is there some quicker cross-country route?

No 400/89 is best, although I take consession 5 to bypass cookstown atm with the road works, I much prefer it when Im working in Mississauga or further west as then I have a nice drive up 50 thru Bolton or an even nicer one up Airport road. About as close to decent topography as your gonna get here in ON.

Either way I dont care I get paid by the KM
