Over zealous security guards?

Man says he was attacked by Bay security staff without warning after carrying purchases out of Burnaby store

Funny story, and a nice US Border officer....

I know its going to be up to the discretion and mood of the officer at the border.

My wife needed to cross today, asked me to grab her passport out of the lock box, I being apparently absentminded and not paying attention grabbed a passport and put it in her purse as she asked.

Got to border, and the passport I gave her was mine....Oop's.

The US Officer was apparently very nice about the situation, made a joke about it, and allowed her to cross, didn't even make her go inside.

Canada gave her no issues coming back, accepted her BC DL and no delay.

Trust me. I once met a doctor.
It says on my credit cards and other such stuff that I'm a Doctor, but I wouldn't take my advice as to how to survive a bad cold.

That said, get the **** out of Canada. Or stop being the Queen or whatisname.

Made chocolate chip cookies from scratch today, but doing the math seems silly to make them from scratch, the chocolate chips alone are $3.99 and I made 2 dozen.

Chilled pre-made Pillsbury cookie dough that makes 2 dozen, $3.99.

Fun to make from scratch though. I enjoy baking.

I'm not keen on baking, but I quite like cooking.

That's one thing the airport scanners and metal detectors are good for, they find the odd instrument or clamp. Sounds like this man was lucky he didn't have further damage.

So on our trip to Arizona in November with my dad and sisters kids, we were on this back road in the desert off I-17 just north of Phoenix where there was a bunch of cactus. (my wife really never saw cactus in the desert before.)

So while stopped there we see a google car decked out in it's equipment driving up the road past us.

So I noted the area, and well tonight looked it up on google street view and sure enough there we are.

Well spotted. Usually the lag time is longer than that.

I am shown on my bicycle in my neighbourhood on old imagery that has since been replaced as the default but can be seen in the older imagery. I'm also shown on old imagery with clients on a site visit to a property. My cousin in Wimbledon is shown giving instructions to her husband on how to trim some trees in the front yard.

Not there now but my stepson was shown cutting the grass at our house. Not sure why it was redone so soon.

Is your destination feasible by road at this time of year or will you be choppered in?

Just wait until they get out in the real world and they have to face the shinny side of a Nazi bayonet. They've never had it so good.
