If you don't drink alcohol and always refuse it, how does one "unintentionally consume" enough to be over the legal limit for driving....
Yeah, right.
It doesn't say much for the brandy that he didn't notice it.
I'll bet the dog used to eat his homework.

Some thoughts
Why do some people and all the media say Happy Holidays?
Should it not be Merry Holidays, or even dare I say it, Merry Christmas.
In fact, what if people are working over Christmas is that not rubbing it in their faces, ha ha I am on a happy holiday and u have to work. Maybe teachers could say happy holidays to all their neighbors and friends in summer see how well that goes down.

So climb down from your bigoted view point why don't you? Unless of course that you only want to send good wishes to Christians. But then that wouldn't be very Christian would it.

A simple ‘Happy Holiday’ is not at all an insult or a denigration of Christmas, or any other tradition. It is an appropriate and inclusive salutation that recognizes that there are many ways that people are observing the season and you don’t know enough to be specific.
That is the very reason that many stores use Happy Holidays rather than Merry Christmas, because they want to be inclusive and welcome as many dollars, ahem, people, into their stores as possible. So, using Happy Holidays is not anti-Christmas, it is pro-business, and we don’t want to be anti-business do we?

My stepdaughter works at HomeSense and their policy is Happy Holidays - and on the phone, Season's Greetings - and she has customers complaining about how it should be Christmas.
Oddly enough one would expect CBC Radio to use the "inclusive" version but they routinely say Happy or Merry Christmas.
That could, of course, just be humble Maritimers on there.

Annoyed when told to just make more money.
As if making more money is so simple as those folks want to make it seem.
Or just find a cheaper place to rent when one is already renting on the very low end of the rental rates. Not as simple as finding a cheaper place if none exist.

Start watching the Oliver Daily News (ODN) Free Classifieds for jobs and rentals, things are a bit cheaper. When you see a good job there will be no rental available because they don't want pets so you'll have to post your own ad. "Wanted, rental for couple with well behaved wiener dog." Gives you Penticton to Osoyoos commuting range. Downside is a few weeks of very hot temps in summer but these days you could get that almost anywhere.

I thought you hurt your back loading planes, is that better? If that isn't an issue it opens up fields like warehousing, delivery, and light industrial. The agricultural jobs are almost all hard labour for low wages, and seasonal.
People who haven't had to look for a job or a place to live for a long time can lose sight of how hard it can be, and how disheartening it is not to get one you want.

All new police officers in England and Wales to have degrees - BBC News
All new police officers in England and Wales will have to be educated to degree level from 2020, the College of Policing has announced.
There will be three options at entry level:
â– A three-year police constable degree apprenticeship paid for by the force, allowing individuals to "earn while they learn" - spending 80% of their time on the frontline, and the rest completing their degree while receiving a salary
â– A practical policing degree, as seen in other professions, where the student would complete a three-year self-funded course and apply for a job once qualified
â– For graduates, a six-month postgraduate conversion course funded by the police

Also in the news today- Bristol University lowering grade requirements for the "disadvantaged".
I was always under the impression that the point of universities was about the most intellectually able who have proved their ability. Lowering grades isn't going to do it-grants might help though!

So, the disadvantaged can make a claim ....'look I have five A lelvels, all with 40-50% pass mark, so let me into the university course program'
A levels are A levels & I'm sure the A level certificate does not show the marks or grade
Bunch of dummies

Even worse is lowering the pass mark to 34% for higher maths
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-33760350
still a bunch of dummies
