It's funny what generates a frenzy! OH put a knackered old cortina on Kijiji for spares. Multiple emails and texts. A guy has paid a deposit for the whole thing and is bringing a trailer at the weekend. One more gone, another step closer to our move.

People love free stuff, although I have found that when you advertise something for free, you get far more 'no shows' compared to when you advertise it for $10. Once they have e-transferred you that $10 they are more committed to pick it up as promised.

Oh I like that! People ignoring the "Flood. Road Closed" signs, thinking it does not apply to them, and then ending up getting stuck. Absolutely delicious. I expect there will be a few where the drivers are yelling at people filming them

I saw one when I lived in Spain, we had a road down to the beach which went under a main road, everytime we had a real downpour it flooded, and it could do it very quickly, went round by it one day and there was a car, up to its windows, stuck. obviously a tourist as locals knew how easily and quickly it flooded and would keep well clear. Water was down within an hour, but the damage had been done.

Regarding the convoy of antivaxer / wannabe insurrectionist truckers rolling towards Ottawa. Whoever coined this hashtag won twitter for the day: #FluTrucksKlan
