Not centralized health records, in a way that would help if you had treatment in a different area, but centralized ‘anonymized’ health data. For research purposes, which in a Tory plan means selling your data.

Thanks for the information though. Given that obstetrics is almost the only hospital treatment I have ever had I guess I have some online form filling to do for me, and the kids.

If you don’t want your identifiable patient data to be shared for purposes except for your own care, you can opt-out by registering a Type 1 Opt-out or a National Data Opt-out, or both. These opt-outs are different and they are explained in more detail below. Your individual care will not be affected if you opt-out using either option.
https://digital.nhs.uk/services/national-data-opt-out
The national data opt-out is a service that allows patients to opt out of their confidential patient information being used for research and planning.

I have never lived anywhere with so many spiders and other creepy crawlers.

That's partly the Okanagan for you!

Spiders will help keep the mossies down, plus other flying insects.

OH got a cheques in the mail today ................

................. $33.00 refund fro9m ICBC.

His basic car insurance runs from August to August. They brought in new lower rates on May 1 so this is the difference between what he paid last August and what the new rate now is for May, June and July.

Apparently he could pay even less for the new insurance when it comes due in August, based on years of driving, accidents, etc.

What do you get if you cross a cow with an octopus?

An immediate cessation of funding and a stern rebuke from the ethics committee

i’m not an expert, but I feel like it’s early for them to be tent caterpillars? I found some online reports about gypsy moth caterpillars, so I think they must be those. They’re everywhere, so seems like bad news for our trees.

I haven't noticed many down here, although the rose leaves are getting chewed y something though not seemingly more than usual. (and that could be leaf-cutting bees anyway).

I think most species of caterpillar prefer 1 or 2 tree species over others, so your damage may depend on what variety of trees, and how many different ones, you have.

More graphs and data broken down by province at link https://angusreid.org/premier-approval-june2021/

No surprise for BC that housing affordability, homelessness, drug use are the bottom 3 of how government is handing, 3 of the most visible things people see day to day, but not exactly an easy or quick fix and not fully within control of the government.

Poor Jason Kenney, least popular premier in all of Canada.

What do these caterpillars grow up to be?

Tent caterpillars turn into moths, rather drab and ugly moths at that.

I much prefer the caterpillars that turn into colorful butterflies.

Tried door dash delivering yesterday, don't think its worthwhile, took an average of about 1 hour from accepting/going to restaurant to pick up/arriving at delivery address, average before any expenses like gas, was $7.77 per hour, so yeah I don't think it's worthwhile, maybe if tips were actually decent but for whatever reason people around these parts do not tip or tip very little.
