Just missed the Snowbirds. Whoosh! ran outside, heard them circle and fade, and saw 1 heading north by itself for some reason, then all gone. I think they're staying at home in Moose Jaw tonight then continuing west, but they may make another pass over Regina in the morning.

Calgary Zoo is sending the pandas they have back to China several years early. They are having difficulty obtaining the bamboo they need, panda diet is almost exclusively bamboo but lack of flights from China is making it very difficult for the zoo to get the bamboo they need. Pandas are also picky so if the bamboo isn't to their liking they wont eat it. The zoo is asking the Canadian and Chinese gov't to expedite the permit process.

I was really upset that he didn't follow through and produce the guide.

Updates are slow, one person taken to hospital so far.... hopefully there wasn't anyone home.
The twitter link doesn't show in your original post, so I'll drop the video here.

A horrible tragedy It was so well intentioned too, hoping to give people a bit of a lift.

It could have been a lot worse, obviously. Thankfully, according to a neighbor, the elderly couple living in the house weren't hurt. When the plane hit the yard and creamed the front of the house, the lady was in the basement and her husband was in the backyard.

My big purchase today; 4 masks for $20. They have a pocket for filter paper and a removable wire nose piece. When I found out which neighbourhood she was in, I thought wouldn't it be crazy if it was our old house.... but it was almost directly across the street! No trouble finding that place. The owner saw me taking a picture of her house and came out. I explained that those two massive trees in the front yard came home from school with me as seedlings in 1965.

My husband doesn't like mashed potatoes. I found out yesterday. Been together 20 years. His favorite meal is shepherd's pie. I'm confused.

My husband had mashed potatoes tonight...first time in at least 10 years. He likes mash...I prefer potatoes cooked any other way than mashed.

It could be one of those things where something isn't really what it is. Like chips (spuds not crisps) are not really vegetables.
In this case it's "not" mash if it's part of something else.
My stepson doesn't like cabbage but he loves stuffed cabbage rolls.

I'm not really a fan of mash, it's too much faff. I only cook them because I thought he liked them. It took him 7 years to tell me he didn't like spinach, I guess that was worse than spuds lol bless him, he eats it anyway ❤
