What an amazing animal. Amazing trainer too.

The problem with you tube is it always shows you something ‘you’ will never be able to do...we have an utterly beautiful one year old cat...and someone on you tube is posting cats that can stay on your shoulder whilst you turn cartwheels...my son can’t turn cartwheels...yet...and the cat is a rescue job that is dodgy with people at the best of times...I feel this may be a long and turgid summer until he finally admits defeat or the cat needs counselling

Another one bites the dust. Another care sharing company is exiting BC.

How about showing the cat how it's done? ;)

Webcams seem to be in short supply these days & the off brand 3rd party sellers on Amazon have really jacked their price, checked camel camel on some that are now $80 and they were never much above $40 2 months ago.

I know right. I have had one on back order ever since the start of this WFH saga. The built in camera on my company laptop is not very convenient as it requires the screen to be up.I'd much prefer one that I can attach to the top of my external monitor. Oh well. 1st world problems eh?

Who would have thunk it that in Quebec you cannot bet on a game of rock, paper & scissors.

A $500,000 debt incurred from three games of rock paper scissors is invalid, the Quebec Court of Appeal has ruled.

Well of course, that's English so it's not recognised. They should have called it Rochambeau and then it would have been legitimate. :sneaky:

It's not a huge issue for me, I have a desktop so no webcam at all at the moment, but companies seem to be doing online interviews more and more and especially now which is hard to do without one...

I'll just wait though, I am not paying the crazy prices on Amazon for some off bran that is 2-3 times the normal price.

Back in 2002-2003 when I lived in Milwaukee and commuted to O'hare the overnight radio station played the same exact recorded track each morning, didn't change in the 10 months I did the commute, I would leave home at 4am, and every day this song came on at roughly the 1/2 way point, could use it to determine if I was going to be on-time for work almost...ha ha

It was about a 70 minute commute, at the state line with IL, I would have to switch to the Chicago station which was identical to the Milwaukee station......

Only reason I know this song, that commute.

Any drive show in Canada should have a good dose of Doug and the Slugs (not at the end of the band, but before Doug got sloppy).

AM drive shows have to have some annoying 'morning zoo' 'morning hot tub' 'zoo crew' 'the wake up crew' type name. Other than cbc and university radio, canadian radio is dire. Thank goodness for Spotify and BBC R6.

My homeward commute radio used to be As It Happens with Barbara Frum and Alan Maitland, back in the golden years. I listened to Barbara's call to Idi Amin's palace in Kampala, which was answered by a random soldier or servant, (no idea), as Tanzanian troops were over-running the place.
Frum: Hello, this is CBC radio in Canada, is Idi Amin there?
Palace: No, Idi Amin ****ed off!
You could hear the chatter of automatic weapons fire in the background.
