I just got in bed...what a simple but delightful pleasure to be in cotton sheets, just ironed (yes I iron my sheets) and dried outside in the sunshine...lots of snow on the ground but a great drying day...the smell is of a time gone by ...

There's no shame in that, we don't all have a maid and, in this era of social distancing, a trip to the laundry to have them ironed is, arguably, not essential.

It isn't considered a pressing need.

16:51 in the UK even though still early here, and this is a British website so that's close enough.

There is no way to get groceries here except for just one of us to do a supermarket shop. That's it.

It is the same here, BEV. No delivery although you can place the list, they will pick and bag and deliver to your car. This would save you from going into the market.

Not at all...I’ve never had a ‘serviette’ near my table in life, and might be judged as a bit of household slut...however...the sheet thing just feels, and smells, sooo good. It’s mostly a pure tactile pleasure...you sleep so much better...in a horrid tense time, when we are meant to be focusing on the positives of all our senses, I’d certainly be be voting for upping your bedtime pleasure...

I laughed out-loud over this comment on reddit.

It's a discussion the risk of Vancouver going bankrupt. There are a few good ones there.

"If the City of Vancouver can't afford to live here, maybe it should move."

I wanted to take something for heartburn,

This guy has the most awesome pond. Money may not fix things, but it surely lets people enjoy life more.
