I suspect the clampdown is because some people were buying 'pet / fish' antibiotics for human use (especially the ones who are preppers) :) https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/fish-...phole-1.330650

Yeah those are mostly snake oil and of no real use, its not even antibiotics that is most commonly used as bacterial infections are not that common in fish, its mostly parasites and the actually effective medications are banned, some stores kept product on shelves until sold, but products are no longer being imported into Canada.

It is what it is, its just causing unnecessary death of fish especially at the store level, very few vets in Canada who treat fish, and taking a fish into the vet is more stressful on the fish and vets can't treat without seeing the patient so its just becoming an issue for the hobby, the rules were created without any thought to the welfare of the animals.

Even Winnipeg is losing its affordability in rentals, one city at a time Canada seems to becoming less and less affordable.

I know I will be better off in 5 years time. I will not be a permanent resident of Canada in the winter time. I will not be living in a bloody big snow belt. I will be doing something different...not sure where all the time, but feeling good!

These sort of questions always floor me, as if I truly believe anything? It might be Man Plans, God Laughs...how can any of us know where we might be in the next 5 years???

Evaporation, something I learned in like 3rd grade.

Weird how many questions are posted in some of the aquarium groups asking why the water level in their tank keeps going down between water changes, unless you see a leak, its evaporation good ole evaporation.

That's an iteresting article about survey results in regards to the economy - 35% of Canadians believe they will be better off in 5 years and yet 76% of Canadians are worried about losing their jobs. I know I will be worse off economically in 5 years and I'm one of the 75% who are worried about losing their jobs.

I am in the same boat. I know rent will only go up, I know wages will barely move, and that combination wont lead to a better future and no sign that wages will increase to a point to match cost of living.

Hang in there friend.

I think it's sad. If he could've taken the thought and energy and built a steam car instead it would have been better.

Simple tax users may find this article interesting. You can go into your account and opt out, they opt you in by default. The company was sold to another company and the privacy policy has been changed from previous years.
